There are a number of new faces in coaching positions, including offensive and defensive coordinators. Many of last year’s players are back with a little experience under their belts, hoping to make a strong run in the conference. Both fans and players are ready for an exciting new season.

The University of Texas at Austin, commonly called UT, is an important part of the Austin community. There are about 50,000 students who go to school at the university. They live and work in our community. Many of them stay and live here after graduation. This gives Austin an especially strong base in technology and the arts on a professional level.
