Do you think you have found the ideal home in your Austin real estate search? At York Real Estate, we try to make sure homebuyers have as much information as possible about Austin houses and condos before deciding which one to choose. One way to be sure this is the home for you is to do a little bit of extra scouting before deciding to put a contract on a new place.
If the new place is not too far away, take some time and drive by at different times of day or night. If you are an early riser, you might check things out in the morning to see what the neighborhood looks like as people are heading off to work or school. Look for sidewalks, bus stops and signs of children. Depending on your perspective, this may be an advantage or disadvantage. If you are going by at night, scout out the lighting in the area. If the opportunity arises, see what happens to the home and the roadway when it is raining.
If you have any doubts or questions about what you see or what you don’t, jot down a list of questions that your York real estate agent may be able to answer. If we don’t know the answers, we will make every effort to find out for you.
